![]() ![]() It didn't hurt the movement of the mouse only aesthetics. ![]() And concerning feet - I tried to peel them off as carefully as possible but one part was sticking harder than the rest and as a result crumpled a little. Nevertheless it worked and it's been half a year with no double clicks regardless of the firmware. It was because I've set the temperature to 200-300C but the solder they used starts adequately melting at max 400-450C. Because I've never soldered before I did a terrible job and scratched a board quite a lot while trying to pull out old switches with tweezers. To stop myself from losing my sanity I've decided to buy Japanese switches and 10$ soldering iron as it would be cheaper than buying a new mouse. Reverting to an old firmware helped for a while but after some time double-clicking returned and nothing was helping. I've been struggling with this issue for months. I will do this eventually so I can update the Firmwares (currently versions 5.xx.xx are available, so very much ahead of what I have). Though for this you need some tools, seems to be the best way to solve the issue, and you get a nice upgrade in the process. ![]() A post by "SlugMan" has a dropbox with the files.ģ. You can download these versions from this thread on the same topic. The second easiest is to downgrade the Firmware (like I did). ![]() Go to Device Manager and disable all the Mouse HID drivers as possible (that is, if you disable the driver and the mouse works, keep it disabled).Ģ. The easiest way looks like disabling the multiple HID drivers. So, if you are experiencing double clicking in this mouse, I recommend trying at least one of the 3 following solutions:ġ. However, it is not the only way people have found a workaround the problem. Looks like the iCue is a non-issue and I'd definitely recommend to downgrade your Mouse and Dongle Firmware. I do not suffer from double clicking on either left or right switches. That is, if set up correctly, you will not suffer from the faulty switches. I have been following this topic for a while and looks like it is definitively a Hardware problem with some added Driver/Software issues. Disabling this one specific HID-compliant consumer control device resolves the issue of the double click and does not require me to force close the ICUE software.Ĭan't see the picture, it's not available. I'm not sure if it's the same for everyone, so I attached an image. One work around - disable the Human Interface Devices. I am still having this issue with v4 of ICUE. ![]()
